<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory device for facilitating calculation of a writing time. <P>SOLUTION: A memory device has a memory 21 having a plurality of storage areas. A controller 22 has: a first mode, in which, when receiving writing data, the controller 22 can write the writing data in the storage areas while managing the correspondence among logical addresses of the writing data and the storage areas storing the writing data and can write the writing data having unspecified size in the storage areas without limiting an order of logical addresses, and stores the data which has not been an object to be written in a management unit storage area AU composed of a plurality of continuous storage areas; and a second mode in which the controller 22 writes a plurality of items of writing data having specified size in the storage areas in an order to increase each logical address and treats the data which has not been written in the management unit storage area as invalid data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
