<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly estimate fuel vapor pressure characteristics related to fuel types and fuel compositions. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel vapor pressure measuring apparatus includes: a fuel vapor generation section 11 vaporizing fuel in a vaporizing chamber 26 by allowing the fuel pressure-fed from a fuel pump 12 to be injected from a nozzle 25 and pass through a venturi 27, 28; a pressure sensor 47 detecting fuel vapor pressure in the vaporizing chamber 26; a temperature sensor 48 detecting fuel vapor temperature in the vaporizing chamber 26; a temperature regulator 29 regulating the fuel vapor temperature in the vaporizing chamber26; and an electronic control unit (ECU) 50 operating the fuel pump 12 and the fuel vapor generation section 11, when operating the temperature regulator 29, in the process of operating the temperature regulator 29, detecting temperatures at a plurality of points by the temperature sensor 48, detect pressures corresponding to the temperatures at the plurality of points by the pressure sensor 47 and calculating fuel vapor pressure characteristics based on the detected temperatures and pressures at the plurality of points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
