PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the magnification of a subject image as desired speedily and accurately through simple input operation. SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 includes a magnification lens group 11z, a CPU 14, a touch panel monitor 15 and an optical system driving mechanism 17. In a standby state, a real-time moving image is displayed on the touch panel monitor 15. The touch panel monitor 15 detects a touch onto the touch panel monitor 15 and a touch position. When the touch panel monitor 15 detects a touch, the CPU 14 determines whether or not the touch position moves while continuing the touch. When the touch position moves, the CPU 14 detects an amount of moving trajectory. The optical system driving mechanism 17 moves the magnification lens group 11z to a position determined in accordance with the amount of the moving trajectory. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
