<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the replacement of a filter of an air cleaner and the inspection of a game machine, in an installation structure of the air cleaner wherein the air cleaner which cleans air sucked from the lower part by a filter and blows it out upward is installed on the upper part of a vertical wall of a bank of game machines which is installed with an array of game machines. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This installation structure of the air cleaner pivots the air cleaner 10 at the upper end of an inspection opening 51 of a game machine 10 provided on the vertical wall 50 of the bank of the game machines 40, so that the air cleaner can tilts forward with respect to the vertical wall 50 to close the inspection opening 51, and includes a changeover/retention means 30 changing over the air cleaner 10 among a vertical state, a predetermined inclination angle and a substantially horizontal state and retaining the set state. The changeover/retention means 30 is vertically attached with a rack 31 with a plurality of teeth at the upper end of the vertical wall 51, a lever 32 disengageably meshed with the rack 31 is attached to the air cleaner 10 and the lever 32 is urged toward the rack 31 by a spring 33.
