<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention system for a building for enhancing crime prevention capability for the building. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a building 10, an inner garage 11 is arranged and a gateway for a vehicle 12 for passage between inside and outside of its garage 11 is also arranged. Moreover, in the building 10, a shutter device 20 for opening and closing the gateway for the vehicle 12 and a damping device 30 for suppressing the rolling of the building 10 resulting from an earthquake or the like, are installed. In the building 10, a plurality of human motion sensors including motion sensors 40-42 are also installed. A detection area of these motion sensors is set up around the building 10 or in the inside of the building 10. Based on an output signal of the motion sensor or the like, a controller 50 determines approach to or invasion into the building 10 by a suspicious person and, uses the shutter device 20 and the damping device 30 to vibrate a shutter curtain 21 and a building unit U1 based on the determination result.
