<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing program, capable of reducing the capacity of an entire line memory by enabling some line memories to store not image data of pixels but a result of determination of a base pattern of the pixels for the line memories required from pattern matching. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The line memory A10 stores image data, and the line memory B11 stores a result of determination of base pattern of pixels. The base pattern of a pixel of interest is determined based on a window A10 and a window B created from the line memory A and a window C created from the line memory B11.
