<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator door device capable of surely detecting a plurality of opening-closing positions of a door panel between a full opening position and a full closing position, without arranging a large number of proximity sensors for detecting the approach of an object. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This elevator door device includes a car 4, the door panel 10 movable to this car 4, a base member 17 fixed to the car 4 and forming a plurality of marks 19 for respectively indicating a plurality of positions of this door panel 10, a car door driving mechanism 13 arranged in this base member 17 and driving the door panel 10 for opening-closing in the door opening direction and the door closing direction, a sensor 15 arranged in this car door driving mechanism 13 and detecting the respective marks 19 of the base member 17, a storage part for storing the corresponding relationship between a value of sensor output from this sensor 15 and a position of the door panel 10 indicated by the respective marks 19, and an arithmetic operation part 16 for arithmetically operating and determining an opening-closing position of the door panel 10 using the corresponding relationship stored in this storage part.
