<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the discharge efficiency of water and the like that penetrates inside the case, without inviting an increase in swelling amount downward the case in a motorcycle having a case for covering a transfer mechanism for transferring the drive power of an engine to a rear wheel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The motorcycle includes a drive sprocket, a driven sprocket, chains and the case 40 for covering the driven sprocket and the chains. The case 40 includes a right lower cover member 51R and a left lower cover member 51L for covering the driven sprocket and chains from the right- and left-side. The cover members 51R and 51L include a lower fringe 53R that extends in the front-back directions downward the chains, to be connected with each other. The lower fringe 53R includes partially a swelling part 53Re that swells upward, moving upward away from the lower fringe, to constitute an opening with the lower fringe.
