<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate expanding/contracting work, and to adequately distribute a load of a container in a container chassis for loading various kinds of containers of different lengths by expanding and contracting the entire lengths thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Frames of a container chassis are divided into three portions of a main frame 1 in a center, a front frame 2 and a rear frame 3, and the front and rear frames are slidably mounted to the main frame 1. A stopper device is installed between the front frame 2 and the main frame 1 so that the front frame 2 can be positioned only at both slidable end positions, and a bolster B2F at a front end with a fastener of a container attached thereto can be installed at a different position in the longitudinal direction. The heavy front frame 2 is pulled by a tractor and abutted to the stopper device and easily installed at both ends. Furthermore, by manually setting positions of the bolster B2F and the rear frame 3, various kinds of containers can be loaded at adequate positions. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
