The frother has a container (1) filled with desired quantity of milk and water that is utilized for production of milk froth. The container is operated in a household-microwave oven without excessive heating of the milk. The container is utilzed directly for consumption of the desired Espresso specialty. The container is made of glass, and enclosed with a microwave reflecting material (2) at an upper side. The container sits in a foodstuff neutral container (3) designed in a double walled type. A hollow space of the foodstuff neutral container is filled with the water via a valve cap (5).
