PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-store settlement system by which settlement procedures in a restaurant can be simplified. SOLUTION: A waitress 26 transmits an order of a customer 20 to a kitchen 14 and an accounting system 100 via a portable order terminal 36 via a short- range radio communication means. The accounting system 100 receives customer- specific information and order information via the short-range radio communication means and integrates the amount to be charged to the customer according to the contents of the order. Settlement of restaurant charges is conducted between a bank 304, in which the customer has an account for settlement and a credit company 302. |
