<p>The telephone has a ringing mechanism (1) including a sound element e.g. tube (10), for producing a musical note. The mechanism includes an actuator member e.g. impact hammer (8), which is in mechanical contact with the sound element so as to enable the sound element to produce a sound. An electronic control unit controls the ringing mechanism, and comprises a microcontroller connected to a main processor. The microcontroller has an output that is connected to a rotating electric motor via an amplification circuit.</p> |
