Equipment supplying respirable gas with humidifier comprises a blower which supplies the gas. A casing unit (1) and base are included, with a cover and intermediate side extension. A separate humidifier (2) connects to the side of the unit. Preferred features: The common connection (9) is described in detail and claimed separately. It conveys respirable gas and has a line for pressure measurement. The common connection includes an electrical connector for the humidifier and a tube coupling. The connection is made between complementary sections, moving sides of the units together. Various supports and height relationships are detailed. A suitable water humidifier is claimed separately; it fits together at the common connection (9) as described. Further variants based on the foregoing principles, and parts of the apparatus are claimed.
