A traveling vehicle system is provided to remove an idle time of a travelling vehicle due to communication delay while facilitating cancellation of a return command or maintenance of a travelling vehicle. A controller(12) indicates a next moving site before reporting that return of a travelling vehicle is completed to transmit a moving reservation that is not ordered to take to the travelling vehicle. The controller transmits the next return command after the completion report. The travelling vehicle receives a product and performs travelling according to the return command. If the return command is completed, the travelling vehicle transmits the return completion report to the controller. If the moving reservation is received, the travelling vehicle travels toward a moving site indicated by the moving reservation. |
