The light irradiation unit includes a light source for emitting the light and a lens through which to pass the light. The light-irradiating beauty care device further includes a light distribution control unit having a discharge portion provided between the lens of the light irradiation unit and the living body surface and an opaque portion for covering the peripheries of the discharge portion and the light irradiation unit. The discharge portion includes optical members through which to transmit the light irradiated from the light irradiation unit while maintaining the quantity of light.</p>
