Device and method for manufacturing book blocks

The book blocks producing device has a sheet web delivery station (2) for delivery of a printable sheet web (16) moving in a longitudinal direction. A printing station (20) is provided with two rollers, which rotate at a peripheral speed corresponding to the movement speed of the sheet web. The rollers are provided with a pre-determined angular area for contact support of the sheet web on the peripheral surface. An independent claim is also included for a book blocks producing method.
