The cylinder has a piston sliding axially in a body that is provided with an annular seal (51), where the seal includes a dynamic inner sealing lip (14) surrounding the piston. The seal includes a rear face (30) that is provided with a flat transverse surface forming a continuous annular ring located radially between lugs and a convex curved linking surface (36). The lugs are projected axially towards rear with respect to the annular ring, where the annular ring is radially aligned with a base of grooves (34) of the rear face.
