Vacuum cleaner with a centrifugal separator

The vacuum cleaner (1) has a centrifugal separator e.g. cyclone separator, comprising an air inlet channel connected with a suction air guide (4) and running into a separation chamber. The separator has an air guiding unit in form of a surface that has an edge comprising an exterior corner arranged in a radial angle range orthogonal to an axis of the chamber. A zero position of the angle range is formed from a radius of the chamber and an intersection point that represents transition of the channel into the chamber facing screwing of a chamber curve about a longitudinal axis of the separator.
