HAPTIC KEYPAD, APPARATUS AND METHOD USING IT

PURPOSE: A haptic keypad, a device using the same, and a method thereof are provided to make recognition and illegal use of a password by other person impossible by sensing a transmitted signal from a plurality of vibration patterns. CONSTITUTION: A separate key(20) comprises a vibration generation unit and an input unit(10). The vibration generation unit generates similar or same vibration patterns. A user senses the generated vibration pattern through the input unit. The user inputs the password by pressing the individual key corresponding to the vibration pattern that a user wants. The vibration generation unit applies the changed vibration pattern to the individual key at a predetermined time interval.
