A fiber optic slickline 100 is formed from an internal fiber optic line 125 and an outer protective jacket 150 and can support a downhole tool assembly coupled thereto. The jacket 150 may be a corrosion resistant metal. The fiber optic line may be a single optical fiber for two way communication over multiple wavelengths or may be a dedicated uphole transmission fiber and a dedicated downhole transmission fiber. |
