Support and sliding system for extractable oven shelves

A support and sliding system for extractable shelves (R) that are installable in a cooking oven that allows maximum sizing of the usable surface of the shelves and the maximization of the usable volume of the oven cavity. The system comprises a pair of substantially symmetric supports (S) that are applicable to opposing sidewalls of the cavity, each of the supports comprising elements made of metal wire and connected to each other as to define at least one guide (G) for the support and the sliding of the shelves (R), the guides (G) in use allowing the sliding of the shelf in a direction substantially horizontal to the cavity. Furthermore each support (S) comprises metallic elements (T) connected in a transversal direction to the guides (G) such that each of the supports in use projects into the cavity by a depth (P) less than or equal to 10 millimetres.
