The assembly has a set of driving rod sections including a guiding element (26) that is fixed in a face plate rail (12), where the guiding element includes a holding region. The guiding element forms an assigned guided recess (78) in the set of driving rod sections and guides the driving rod sections for movement along the face plate rail. The holding region includes detents that are pre-stressed along holding direction, engaged behind the driving rod sections and form a guided recess. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a fitting assembly for a drive rod fitting system in a wing of a window and a door.
