PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having a low reflection touch panel with suppressed reduction cost of the low reflection touch panel in which a transparent electrically conductive film is directly formed on at least either a first 1/4 wavelength plate or a second 1/4 wavelength plate. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device having a low reflection touch panel is equipped with the low reflection touch panel on the front face of a liquid crystal display 1. The low reflection touch panel is produced by successively stacking at least, from the liquid crystal display 1 side, a first 1/4 wavelength plate 3, two layers of transparent electrically conductive films 5 facing each other with a spacer, a second 1/4 wavelength plate 6 having an optical axis perpendicular to that of the first 1/4 wavelength plate 3 and a polarizer 8. The transparent electrically conductive film 5 is directly formed on at least one of the first 1/4 wavelength plate 3 and the second 1/4 wavelength plate 6. In this device, a correcting plate 10 for polarization direction is disposed between the liquid crystal display 1 and the first 1/4 wavelength plate 3 of the low reflection touch panel so that the optical axis 4 of the first 1/4 wavelength plate 3 is aligned parallel or perpendicular to the side line of the first 1/4 wavelength plate 3. |
