<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing object by sublimation transfer capable of realizing a desired matte pattern with various surface forms such as a matte pattern having a deep unevenness, and a method for producing the printing object. <P>SOLUTION: In order to obtain the printing object 1, a thermal transfer receiving sheet provided with a receiving layer 3 on a base material 2 and a thermal transfer sheet having a sublimation dye-containing dye layer on a base material are laminated and heated to form a thermal transfer image 5 by a sublimation dye on the receiving layer 3. Afterwards, using a thermal transfer sheet provided with a thermal transfer protective layer on a base material, on at least a part of the thermal transfer image 5, a protective layer 4 is provided by thermal transfer, and on at least a part of the protective layer 4, the printing object 1 has a matte-like form formed on the surface by die-pressing an emboss plate having the unevenness on its surface under a certain heating condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
