Method for producing a flat roof element for vehicles

The roof element has a flat polyurethane body (26') that is in the form of a flat plate and forms a mechanically stable carrier element, and a coating (16) i.e. lacquer, applied on the body. The body and the coating are transparent. An attachment part (18) and/or a mounting part (20) e.g. solar cell, are partially accommodated in the body. The mounting part is completely enclosed by the body. The attachment part is accommodated in an edge-sided recess of the body, and is in flush with an upper surface of the body. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a flat roof element for a vehicle.
