PURPOSE: A telephone and a telephone service method thereof are provided to select a network connection mode by considering quality and costs of the telephone according to a call pattern of a user, and to continuously offer proper service. CONSTITUTION: A PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) interface unit(240) is connected to a PSTN. An IPN(Internet Protocol Network) interface unit(260) is connected to an IPN. A profile switching unit(226) products a first profile switching message converting the IPN connection to the PSTN connection, and transmits messages to a server through the IPN interface unit. The profile switching unit requests the PSTN connection to the PSTN interface unit. |
