PURPOSE: A battery protection device is provided to prevent the flow of leakage current by completely disconnecting the contact point of a breaker when a battery is overcharged or overdischarged. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal plate(25) is connected to negative pole of a battery. A second terminal plate(27) is connected to the ground. A disc(29) is contact with or separated from a first terminal plate and a second terminal plate. A hook(35) is arranged in the front end of a movable rod of a solenoid. The upper end of a shaft rod(17) is combined with a push button by passing through the case. A first spring(43) restores the push-button to original position. A second spring(45) adheres closely disc to the first and the second terminal plate. A controller operates solenoid according to the discharge state of a battery.
