A glucopyranosyloxypyrazole derivative represented by the following general formula (I), a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the derivative, or a prodrug of either. (I) The compound has excellent inhibitory activity against human SGLT1 and is useful as a preventive or remedy for diseases attributable to hyperglycemia such as diabetes, complications of diabetes, and obesity. Also provided are a medicinal composition containing the derivative, salt, or prodrug; a medicinal use thereof; and an intermediate for the derivative. (In the general formula (I), R1 is hydrogen, etc.; one of Q and T is the group represented by (II) and the other is optionally substituted alkyl, etc.; and R2 is halogeno, etc.)
