PURPOSE: A pickling ability power improvement system and method using strip heating are provided to maintain clean surface of a strip by quantitatively controlling the temperature of the strip passing through a pickling line. CONSTITUTION: A pickling ability power improvement system comprises a scale breaker(100), a strip heater(200), a picking tank(300), and a spray amount controller(400). The scale breaker breaks a strip passing through a pickling line to crush the oxide scale layer formed on the surface of the strip. The strip heater generates flame to heat the broken strip. The pickling tank washes sludge with pickling solution. The spray amount controller controls the injection rate of the flame which is generated by the strip heater.
