PURPOSE: A method of a radar image autofocus based on the entropy of eigenvectors is provided to estimate a phase error using the entropy of the eigenvectors as a cost function. CONSTITUTION: Radar signal including a plurality of pulses which is reflected from a target is received(S100). Range profiles are generated by compressing the pulses in a distance direction(S110). The range profiles are respectively arranged(S120). A covariance matrix is calculated from an initial matrix which is obtained from the radar signal(S130). A eigenvalue matrix including an eigenvalue, and a eigenvector matrix are calculated(S140). An image matrix includes an eigen profile(S160). A phase error is estimated to minimize the entropy of the image matrix(S180). A radar image in which the phase error is removed is generated(S190).
