THE INBOARD REGION AIRFOIL FOR A HELICOPTER ROTOR BLADE

PURPOSE: An airfoil inside a helicopter rotor blade is provided to reduce moment applied on a blade root site by offsetting pitching moment generated on the main dynamic lift of the helicopter rotor blade. CONSTITUTION: An airfoil inside a helicopter rotor blade comprises a leading edge, a trailing edge, an upper side, and a lower side. The inside airfoil is applied from the root of the rotor blade to 50%~70% of the end. The trailing edge is formed from the leading edge with a space. The upper side and the lower side are formed between the leading edge and trailing edge.
