PURPOSE: A complex prism sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce a failure due to the entry of foreign materials or scratch in assembling the backlight unit by combining a diffusion layer and a protection layer with the prism sheet. CONSTITUTION: A lower layer(120) is provided. A middle layer(130) is stacked on the upper side of the lower layer and has a plurality of parallel pillar prisms on the upper side thereof. An upper layer(150) is stacked on the upper side of the middle layer and has a light diffusion structure on the upper side thereof. The lower layer, the middle layer, and the upper layer are integrated. An air layer is formed in a valley between the lower side of the upper layer and the prism of the middle layer.
