PURPOSE: An image sensor and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to shit an optical route to perform an accurate focus of a photo-diode. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor substrate has a photo diode. An interlayer insulating layer(150) is formed on the substrate and has a metal line(140). A protection layer(160) is formed on the inter-layer insulating film and has a lens shaping section. The color filter layer(180) is formed within the lens shaping sections. The first optic(190) is formed within the lens shaping section and is formed on the color filter layer. The second lens(200) is formed within the lens shaping section and is formed on the first optic.
