PURPOSE: A digital camera having light pointing device for easily operating a digital camera is provided to easily perform the operation of the digital camera due to clicking a menu displayed on display screen or function. CONSTITUTION: A display screen is included in a camera body. The light pointing device operates a pointer displayed on the display screen. The light pointing device comprises next. A light source(210) outputs a subject sensing light. An optical sensor(220) is mounted in the substrate. An imaging guide makes incident the subject the sensing light to the optical sensor.
