PHAMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION OF DIABETES MELLITUS USING EXTRACT OF TAXUS CUSPIDATA AND MULBERRY TREE, AND MAMUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition using Taxus cuspidate and Morus alba extract is provided to effectively treat diabetes and hypertension without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treating diabetes contains 20-60 weight parts of Taxus cuspidate leaves and stems and 20-60 weight parts of Morus alba leaves and stems which is extracted by hot water extraction. The composition also contains pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. A method for manufacturing the extract comprises: a step of washing and drying leave and stems of Taxus cuspidate and Morus alba; a step of cutting and mixing in 20-60 weight parts; a step of adding 10-50 times of weight of purified water and heating; and a step of filtering the extract and removing solid to obtain liquid.
