QUERY PROCESSING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SENSOR NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A query processing method and a system thereof in a sensor network environment are provided to Induce result of a new requested query by utilizing a result of existing queries. CONSTITUTION: A query optimizing unit(200) extracts a candidate queries for performing a newly requested query transferred from a query receiving unit(100). An query storage unit stores information about queries which is presently processing, mapping information between queries, mapping information between specific parent queries, and inducible query information. An query result inducing unit(400) induces query result registered in inducing query storage unit(520). A query executing unit(300) performs queries which is not inducible from queried which belongs to candidate set.
