PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of gonjinhwan containing seaweed fulvescens is provided to maintain beneficial effects of gonjinhwan by instant freeze-drying preprocessed seaweed fulvescens, and to improve quality of a product by coating gonjinhwan with an undiluted solution of cacao. CONSTITUTION: Gonjinhwan containing seaweed fulvescens includes 20.2% of nutrition extract powder of seaweed fulvescens by using ta low temperature vacuum freeze-drying method. The Gonjinhwan contains corni Fructus 16.8%, Korean angelica root 16.8%, Milk thistle 5.6%, rubi Fructus 10%, aquilariae Lignum, vitamin C, L-arginine and cacao etc. A manufacturing method of Gonjinhwan comprises the following steps: extracting and concentrating each material; powdering curcumae longae Rhizoma, aquilariae Lignum etc; mixing a concentration solution of vegetable materials, extraction powder of seaweed fulvescens, raw material powder, and vitamin; drying and making pills of Gonjinhwan; coating the Gonjinhwan with a cacao raw solution.
