PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to effectively decrease unstable vibration from a tilting plate with a thrust bearing and a thrust washer. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor(1000) comprises a housing, a cylinder block(100), a piston(200), a driving shaft(400), a swash plate(500), a first supporting member(700), and a plurality of a second supporting members. The cylinder block includes a plurality of cylinder bores and is coupled to the housing. The first supporting member is coupled between one side of the boss of the swash plate and the cylinder block to support the swash plate elastically. The second supporting members are coupled between the other side of the boss of the swash plate and the cylinder block to support the swash plate. The second supporting members contact with one another in a sliding way and comprise a guide protrusion and/or a circular guide recess. The circular guide recess receives the guide protrusion.
