FIELD: physics, nuclear. ^ SUBSTANCE: method is meant for adjusting and checking devices for measuring power and reactivity of nuclear reactors and rapid checking their working capacity. A nuclear reactor is set to a fixed power level and pulsed signals from neutron current sensors are picked up using an apparatus. A fixed time interval öt is given. Digital signals of the apparatus are integrated on time on this interval and stored in random access memory. Integration is repeated on the next time interval öt. Accuracy for coincidence of integral values is given and the obtained integral values are compared using the formula S1 S2ëñ, where S1 is the first integral value, S2 is the second integral value, is the given accuracy for coincidence of integral values. The interval öt is increased and integration and comparison are repeated until the said inequality is satisfied. The last set is stored and converted to analogue form which imitates the nuclear reactor ionisation chamber signals, where the interval öt is chosen from the condition öt>> where f is the mean frequency of pulses from the radiation chamber. That way, an analogue signal identical to ionisation chamber signals is generated. ^ EFFECT: more accurate adjustment of the inspected pulsed apparatus. ^ 1 cl, 1 dwg |
