FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to centrifugal pump and its impeller. Pump includes volute 2, rear wall 4, impeller 20. Impeller 20 has casing 22 and balancing channels 26 passing through casing 22. Impeller 20 is connected to shaft 6 of pump and rotated inside volute 2. Balancing channels 26 pass through casing 22 so that hole 30 of channels 26 in front surface of casing 22 of impeller 20 is located both in front of hole 32 located on rear surface of casing 22, in circumferential direction, and closer to axis 8 of the pump than hole 32 on rear surface of casing 22 of impeller 20. ^ EFFECT: pump can be used without risk of damage to shaft sealing or any other damages at capacities which are higher than optimum working point. ^ 14 cl, 4 dwg |
