FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, in particular to method for forecasting electric insulation properties of composite materials for a durable period of time in moist environment. The method includes the following stages: sample is created in the form of hollow cylinder, which is placed between brass electrodes, and sample is tested to detect values of moisture content and values of leakage current through previously specified time intervals, calculating coefficient "moisture content - leakage current", based on values of moisture content and values of leakage current, using coefficient "moisture content - leakage current" to identify electric insulation properties of sample. ^ EFFECT: method makes it possible to reliably detect electric insulating properties of samples, to forecast maximum moisture content and maximum leakage current of electric insulating samples with application of abnormal diffusion model, and also to perform current monitoring and inspection of feedthrough insulators made of composite materials, which is technical result of invention. ^ 30 cl, 13 dwg, 2 tbl |
