FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: device includes two threads 1 and 2 of heating cable, the first 1 of which is fixed at the edge 3 of roof 4, and the second one 2 - above the first one on external surface of roof. Edge of roof is bent down to form a cavity, shape of cross section of which corresponds to shape of cable cross section. The first thread of cable is arranged in specified cavity and contacts with its surface, and the second thread is fixed by means of metal protective jacket 5. Both threads are arranged with at least two electrically connected insulated conductors 8 and 9 and are connected to source of power supply with the possibility of joint or separate operation. Inside jacket there is a layer 10 of elastic heat-insulating material, coated at the top and bottom with reflecting heat conducting material 11, and the second thread 2 of cable is arranged in longitudinal middle part of jacket on material 11, coating upper surface of layer 10, is impressed in it and contacts with jacket. ^ EFFECT: reduced heat losses to environment, reduced power inputs, increased efficiency of ice and snow melting, electric and fire safety and increased service life of device. ^ 4 cl, 2 dwg |
