A mobile system has a wireless communication system with a first processing device (such as a cellular telephone or network card) and a second processing device (such as a portable computer or personal digital assistant). A single IP address is assigned to a second processor and all incoming external messages are stored in he second processor. In certain embodiments, the first processing device includes a filter; in other embodiments, the second processing device includes a proxy for each processor.
