PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance the incidence rate of sun light by forming a plurality of protrusions with a convexo shape on a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(100) includes a plurality of protrusions(120). A first electrode(300) is formed on a substrate. A photoelectric conversion layer(400) is formed on the first electrode. A second electrode(600) is formed on the photoelectric conversion layer. The photoelectric conversion layer and the second electrode include a convexo shape. A solar cell increases generation efficiency based on the incidence rate and the incident area of sun light.
