STABILIZED PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING A PROTON PUMP INHIBITOR

PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a proton pump inhibitor which is formed on a stabilized layer is provided to suppress reaction between a core material and active ingredient and to improve storage stabilization for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition contains an inactive core, alkali stabilized layer formed on the core, a drug coating layer containing the proton pump inhibitor; and an enteric coating layer. The alkali stabilized layer contains an alkalizing agent. The proton pump inhibitor is S omeprazole, ransoprazole, rabeprazole, pantoprazole, or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The alkalizing agent is magnesium oxide. The content of the alkalizing agent is 1-10 weight parts based on 100 weight parts of inactive core. The alkali stabilized layer additionally contains 2-10 weight parts of binding agent. The dosage form of the composition is pellet.
