PURPOSE: A pipe wrench for improving operational safety is provided to prevent the change of clamping state by canceling a locked state of a switching button. CONSTITUTION: A pipe wrench for improving operational safety comprises an operating tool. The operating device changes a wedge roller(24) into a clamping state or a free state. The operating tool comprises a switching button(25), an operation changing unit, and a fixing member. The switching button passes through a main body to top and bottom. The switching button is installed in a through-hole(201). The switching button reciprocates to the straight line to the direction meeting at right angle of the rotational direction of a retainer(23). An operation conversion member converts a linear reciprocating motion of the switching button into the rotary motion of the retainer. The fixing member movably fixes the location of the switching button. |
