PURPOSE: A ring type input device and a method thereof are provided to provided the input device of a ring shape, thereby enhancing mobility and portability of a mouse. CONSTITUTION: A motion sensing unit(200) senses a hand motion of a user. A vibration sensing unit(300) detects vibration according to the hand motion. A control unit(400) transmits a control command for movement of a mouse pointer to an electronic device through communication unit(100) based on the hand motion. The control unit transmits a control command relevant to a button function of a mouse to the electronic device through communication unit.
