PURPOSE: A dye sensitized solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the solar cell by forming a reflector on a pre-set area of a substrate which faces a sensitization dye carrying layer. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(120) is formed on a first substrate(100). A sensitization dye carrying layer(130) is formed on the upper side of the transparent electrode. The sensitization dye carrying layer includes a metal oxide and a sensitization dye which is adsorbed on the metal oxide. A second substrate(110) is arranged with facing the sensitization dye carrying layer. The second substrate includes a counter electrode and a reflector which is patterned with a pre-set shape. A liquid electrolyte(150) is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. |
