PURPOSE: A maximum connecting number change method and a VoIP system for changing maximum connection number according to variable bandwidths on general internet network are provided to improve the voice speech quality and effectiveness by securing the voice quality. CONSTITUTION: A call connection manager(110) determines a connection request. A packet manager(120) senses whether voice packets are between voice over internet protocol systems. The packet administration unit produces the loss rate of packets. A maximum connection number manager(130) compares minimum/maximum requirement values on the packet loss rate and voice quality. The maximum connecting number administration unit operates the maximum connecting number. |
