The method involves drilling a sleeve to emerge an opening under a structure (1) e.g. concrete structure. A core maintaining element (9) emerging under the structure is inserted at an inner side of the sleeve to ensure maintenance by supporting in periphery of the opening at a level of a lower face of the structure. The core maintaining element is built at the inner side of the sleeve, and the structure is cored along an axis defined by the core maintaining element. An independent claim is also included for a device for core-drilling of a structure.
